Beauty standards across the world

People fill with joy and confidence when someone calls them beautiful , but the truth is that everyone is beautiful in their own way.

Beauty is subjective & people have different opinions about it .  

 Here is the list of 15 countries with their different beauty standards.                                                

         1.US~

American beauty standard starts with tall and slender frame , they are obsessed with ideal body of models. Surgery for big assets, lip fillers, and botox injections are commonly used.                                              2.UK~

Britishers see the royal family as their fashion icons. In British culture wrinkles are the symbol of beauty , they say that wrinkles are the sign of maturity and wisdom.

Weather up there is too cloudy so there is less of sun & thus they like fake tan.         

  3.Brazil~

Instead of slender body Brazillians prefer curvaceous body, wider hips and large buttocks.Brazil is one of the leading country for plastic surgery, specially for breast implants.                                                       

   4.Russia~                                                  

tall women with long blonde hair, pale skin, convex butt , unproportionally long legs and thin figure are said to be beautiful.                     

                   5.Newzealand~ Maori community in Newzealand is a tribal group.

Women of their tribal group have traditional maori tattoos. These tattoos are symbol of beauty . They usually intricate tattoos on their face,mouth, chin,nose or upper lip.                                  

  6.Turkey~

Women with pale skin, green or blue eyes, rosy cheeks are considered beautiful.         7.Iran~

 As we all know women are all covered with clothes and are only allowed to show their face ,so long bridged nose is considered beautiful there.Long bridged nose are considered as sign of fortune and wealthiness . Hence women prefer nose jobs/rhinoplasty. These women wear bandages on their nose long after they are not required.                                                   

8.India~ Earlier, Indian women preferred jewelleries and natural ways to enhance their beauty. 

 But after the influence of Britishers ,women desire to get fair skin increased. Usually curvy women with fair skin, big eyes, large forehead and round face with threaded eyebrows are considered beautiful..                                                       

  9.Myanmar~  Beauty standards of this country is plain bizarre! 

To get long neck , they make women wear brass neck coil to push their shoulder down and elongate their neck.                                                                          

       10.South Korea~ 

This country is well known for it's higher beauty standard. It sells skin care and beauty products across the world. This country has highest number of cosmetic surgeries per capita in the world.

 fair, flawless and smooth skin, V-shaped narrow chin with wider forehead, double eyelids, high bridged nose with round tip and straight eyebrows are considered to be beautiful. To achieve this unrealistic beauty standard one-third of Koreans go through cosmetic surgeries.                        

11.China~ 

 Beauty standards of China are similar to that of South Korea. Fair pale skin, tall and thin body with long oval face ,down shoulder, long nose bridge, small lips and big rounded eyes are said to be beautiful . Women use a lot of fairness creams and make up products to look beautiful.                12.Ethiopia~

In Ethiopian Suri tribe community, lower lip of women signifies the sign of maturity . Lower front teeth is removed & heavy clay or disk to adorn and stretch the lower lip.   13.Egypt~

 In ancient Egypt, ideal women had perfectly symmetrical face and long straight hair and narrow hips.They used kohl eyeliner to master their cat eye style. They created oils and perfumes for both men and women to wear.

  In modern times, women are adapting to let their curls down and are also influenced by Western culture.                                     

                  14.Mauritania~ This country is situated in Northwest Africa. 

In Mauritania, being fat is considered as beautiful and sign of wealth. While women in west starve to become skinny, women here are force fed and even sent to camp to gain weight.                                  15. France~

People here prefer natural looks and embrace the beauty they are born with.They love no-makeup makeup idea and they do not put much effort to enhance their looks.
